hi guys, just wondering if anyone has had this issue, had a bad knock sensor, removed the pel, and changed it, someone had changed the bank 2 so i had it tested and it was good, put every thing back together and may have over extended the harness, at any rate it took two weeks for them to find the problem and get it running, in the mean time a referred mech had me change the air flow meter, cam position sensor and the throttle position sensor, now i still have the cel light on and the car will not accelerate from dead stop, rough idle and i can hear a noise coming from the cam position sensor once the car warms up. seems to be burning more gas and it seems like the its not getting enough gas. any advice would be great.

Well, if the CEL is on its going to be giving you a code.. why hasnt this code been checked, and why have you let your clearly underqualified "mechanic" waste money on parts that dont normally fail.

You probably have bad injectors. I dont mean to come off sounding coarse or anything, but im just trying to be realistic. Welcome to NICO and the best Q45 forum around. We are here to help you.

first order of business is to check the ECU codes. This is something that you could probably do yourself if you have a few simple tools. You will then know what is going wrong and the appropriate course of action for treatment.

Spend some time reading on http://www.q45.org and see what you can come up with. Consider ohm-testing your injectors to find bad ones.

ok before i went in i had a knock sensor code and a cps code. now i have p0325,p1120,p0340,p0505,p0130,0p0130. all these after changing the ks, csps, tps, afm. could it be the harness ? i didnt know where to get it and did the ks on a warm day on a whim, as for the jack leg mech. i went against my first mind (like an idiot ! ) and now im trying to get it back feeling like it did.

The KS harness has the 2 KS and coolant temp sensor so yo measure the resistances of each of the 3 at the output connector to determine if harness or densor or it connector is bad.

with all of these ECU codes, im inclined to think that you have a bad ECU... it would be EXTREMELY unlucky to have all of those pop up and go bad at once....

Before you proceed make sure the ecu connector is properly seated......someone may have lossened it and not reconnected correctly.

As I said earlier have a dealer tech do the trouble shooting, then review his finding with us before repairs are oked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
