So I bought a 89 coupe. It was a rolling she'll with just the underpass wiring harness and the wiring harness the goes to the engine bay with the two fuse boxes. It was a sohc car so I bought a 95 ka24de swap, I swapped it in wired the connector from the engine harness to the under dash sohc harness(white in the sohc car and brown on the dohc) then plug up the engine harness and lower harness then plugged the lower harness to the the harness that has the two fuse boxes including the two plug from the engine harness that they plug into. I ran a battery wire from the battery to the starter then from the starter to the alternator(including the white wire that's in the lower harness to the alternator) ran the grounds. Now I have two white wires that look to be either a ground or positive that is connected to the harness that has the two fuse boxes in the engine bay they are near the pass fuse box. I have now idea what they go to. So I said f*** it I just wanted to see if the motor would spin over. Well I turn the key on and try to start it and it won't do anything. I have no power to the ignition switch. But if I cross the posture on the starter and the signal wire the motor will spin over. Oh and btw my harness don't have the fuse able link that is right beside the battery. So what could be the problem? I'm pretty sure I'm not getting power to the ecu either if I'm not getting power to the ignition switch. The only power I have is from the battery to the starter to the alternator. Is there any other wires I'm missing? And does the ignition switch get power from the harness that has the two fuse boxes in the engine bay? Could I run a straight wire to the ignition switch on the constant 12v wire to see if it would then spin over?
