No power in SR?

Cranks up fine idles fine but only for a couple of minutes then i try and drive it and when i give it gas nothing happens in fact the car almost dies but not like a bog. I was thinking i need to get my injectors cleaned? Does that sound like it could be the answer? Because my 89 coupe just sat for a couple of years before i installed my sr so maybe the old gas got in the system? thanks

Check your timing, or check for boost/vacuum leaks

check your cold pipe/hot pipe make sure that there are no cracks or disconnected pieces.

would a dirty MAF do that also?

It is most likely your timing. Check that, your CAS and TPS voltage.
