Ok back story: Bought the car as a roller, interior harness is missing a few odds and ends but still there under the dash. the dash is gutted. Pretty sure it had a dohc swapped into it from the single cam it had as it is an 89. The body harness up front was junk so i swapped it with another good condition one. I then swapped in an rb20det, i had to wire from wire to wire i had no plugs to work with. So i kinda guessed my way through the engine harness to the body harness. Ok so today i tried to start it, and all i got was a click from a relay and thats it. I do not have a gauge cluster in now. The only thing that worked that i could tell is the headlight. They light up. I have no brakes, no interior lighting, no motor start, no fuel pump on. Nothing. Battery is brand new, charging it tonight. I do have a couple extra plugs off the harness on the passengers side. I will post pictures of those tommorrow. best place to start?

Sorry for the wall of text,
Dakota

Sounds like you need a new start on a new harness. Or possibly getting a custom harness from these folks so you can eliminate any errors:

They're a vendor, mention NICO and you'll get a discount for the referral.
Without knowing what you did (or might have overlooked) to the harness you're working with, there probably won't be a lot of answers readily available.

^^^this...also even then you should get more than the clicks. You have a bad ground to starter OR the more likely your battery. I'd definitely get a wiring specialties harness. ..oh wait, I already did ;) couldn't be happier. Turn key start.
