I know I can figure it out but having a how-to with pics diminishes the time for install. I'm intrested in the audi lights for the front. Im not sure if will look as good on a stock bumper compared to the stillen fascia. any (positive) thoughts. Also when we paint the taillights with VHT night-shades, what are sum different techniques to keep the back-up lights white?

Are you wanting to put the LEDs IN the headlights or OUTSIDE of the lights. i.e. on the bumper under the lights?

I have a stock bumper and I did them under the lights, I think my set-up looks cool, but i'm biased lol

They look pretty subtle in this pic. In person they are brighter and more noticeable
Image

With the taillights I used a thin piece of cardboard and cut it in a circle to match the reverse lights, then I backed it with double sided scotch tape and stuck it on the light. Easy to remove and left clean lines.

I noticed that a lot of the pics disappeared after the switch to the new server or whatever last April. Anything posted before that time kind of went to limbo or is sized in such a way that you cant see it entirely. There was a member that actually made a thread on how to be able to view them, I think it was Hussain or Mcheddadi, hit up the search button.

Whats up op.

Here is how I did single leds in te headlights...... this is probaly way more detailed than you will need.

I assume you are going to do a strip??? If so just follow the wiring instructions. I recommend puttng the lights on there own switch because if you have head lights or parking lights on it can take away from you strip.

Looks to me like that silly grille is what breaks up the whole car

I'd recommend stock or C-mod

ouch!, I kinda like the way the grill breaks it up tho but not the silver headlights. I dont want to go full black, to me a car shouldn't all be 1 color but thats just me. Black on black on black on black lol no thanks

Thanks, I needed to know where the wheel-well bolts were. Still kinda of hard to tell from the photos. DJBeasy, if you could get a good photo of those two bolts, and where they are located, that would be great.

They are behind the wheel well cover, right at the point where the lower piece of the bumper meets the upper piece. If you pull back on the well cover, you cant miss them. One on each side.

Hey guys,

I'm looking into the issue with the pics on the how-tos. It's an image hosting issue. Some how-tos have image content directly hosted on NICO, and others have links to third party hosting sites. Only some articles are consistent with usage of photo-hosting, so that's why you're seeing some articles with pics and some without. (There is even one that I saw with only one picture that would load).

I'm working this out now. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.
