no pedal with z32 brakes! NEED HELP!!!!

just got done install 26mm z32 front brakes, new rotors, new pads all around. i bleed everything but the pedal goes striaght to the floor unless you pump it a couple times. im using the stock mc on my 95 240 se with abs that was origniallly auto (auto MC). what should i try doing to get these brakes to work? i need to get the car driveable so i dont have to keep asking for rides. thanks fellas

Master cylinder has air in it, or the ABS unit has air in it.

There is a 7mm bleeder on the ABS unit as well.

Could be that the calipers are switched right/left, too. The caliper bleeder should be on top to let all of the air out. I learned that one the hard way.

i have them the opposite way. were you having the same problem as me? i will try this out tomorrow if the abs bleeder doesnt help

Yeah, I had mine upside down / switched when I first installed them, and there were NO brakes. There were huge air bubbles trapped inside of the calipers. After I switched them and re-bled the whole system, I got the braking power I was looking for.

ok i switched them today and reblead everything and now have brakes. thanks

the pedal though is still pretty soft but i figure this is normal for having the stock MC still. i havent tried any hard braking yet as i want the rotors to brake in some before i do that hard brake in thing that i hear you are suppose to do.

should i invest in a z32 MC? thanks for the help
