Whats up guys.

I own two Nissan NV200's that both have issues, and cannot find a good NV200 forum. The forum that comes up on google is no good - i've been trying to post for a month but none of my posts are being "approved" for display.

Does nico have an NV200 forum that I am missing?

We don't. I get the feeling it wouldn't see much traffic.
Is the nv200 based on the cube (more or less)? Maybe just post up in the cube forum? If all else fails, you could just post here as well.

The NV200 has the same engine as the Cube, but I think that's about it. I've seen the articles that say they are "based on the same platform," but I think that just means that they are both unibody designs.... they appear to be completely different specs/dimensions.

Anyways, both of my NV200's are eating tires up at 20k miles a pop. This is no fun when they are $700 a set ("special" sidewalls, 50 psi tires!!)

Also, one of my NV200's has developed a vibration when accelerating into right turns. I've inspected the suspension but didn't see anything unusual. I've rotated the tires and that didn't help. I may just drop off at dealer..... but I guess Nissan is already having axle issues in the NV200.

Shift lock failed at 15k miles, Nissan replaced free of charge.

Lastly..... fuel pump died at 22k on the odometer..... Nissan replaced it free of charge for me, but they were all surprised.

I am not driving these vans very hard, and they are just falling apart!! I trust my 220k Pathfinder more than I trust my 30k NV200's!!

Ta-da!

Tire issue sounds like alignment problems (duh), which I had with the Cube. Tried shims, which were a janky-looking fix, but they worked. Any alignment shop should be able to do them. When loaded, the rear alignment changes significantly due to the rear suspension design, and wedge-shaped shims at the hub bring it into proper alignment.

I'll do some more looking on this end... doesn't match up with any of the info I'm familiar with, but between the two of us, we should be able to figger it out! :)

Is the tire wear problem on the front, or the rear?

If it were me, I'd drop the subframe...

Before you get too crazy, make sure you don't wind up with wiring issues. The can-bus harness integrates everything - engine, gauges, trans, TCS, ABS, airbags, lighting, HVAC, audio... bleh.
