My 1995 Q odometer stopped working after I did some dash work. Are these prone to go bad? Could it be a connection or the odometer itself?

Not really a common failure item, but I've heard of it. Are the dual trip meters still working?

Yes, they work. Well they did before I unhooked the info display. Got sick of seeing the light message. It must be a connection or something?

What "light message?" The High Beam indicator?

Probably the "Brake Lamp Inoperative" message? Mine still goes from "OK" to "Inoperative" even though all the lights seem to be functioning & a bad bulb replaced.

all of the messages come on with leds and hids. I just unhooked it. I was just looking to fix the speedo before I get rid of it. Either way I'm either selling her local or ebay. Carlisle kit/import show is May 19th, after that she goes. First 5k takes her. I'm replacing her with a ecoboost MKT. I'm not really excited, but the wife is happy the "other woman" is going.

I'm glad the wife will happy, but nothing with the word "eco" in it's name could replace a Q. :frown:
