No more M45 with Premium package

I ordered an M45 with the Premium package last week (in San Diego, CA) and was told Friday that Infiniti is no longer making M45s with the Premium package - something to do with EPA compliance. Anyone else hear something like this?

You can still configure one at Infiniti's web site. I really don't see what

• Infiniti Mobile Entertainment System• Power reclining and heated rear seats• Rear climate and audio controls with driver lock-out control• Power rear sunshadewould have to do with the EPA

Like SilverShadow said, it is still possible to configure one on the Infiniti web site, so I am not sure why you were told that.

Maybe, the dealer did not have one available to him and told you this to get you to get one he had in stock or on its way? Sad if true!

Geez I hope the dealer isn't messing with me!! Another dealer I called (unfortunately, I couldn't call Infiniti corporate since it was after they closed on Friday) said that they had been trying to order an M45/Premium and their ordering system kept spitting it out.

If multiple dealers are saying the Premium is no longer available, then I guess I stand corrected on my earlier post.

But, like you also mentioned, I still don't understand what those options would have to do with the CAFE stuff!

That is odd because I just Whent to the dealer today to discuss my lease and they where going to produce mine with premium package XM! (infiniti of nashville ,tn)

Well, do let us know if they have/will order a premium package car from the factory (unless you happen to have chosen black or white for the exterior color - they can find those on dealer lots).
