NO MORE BG44k !!!!!

Just heard from Joe that they stopped shipping BG44k by mail. Sucks big time!!!!! The local places charge too much money for the product - Joe had the best price in town - or outta town for that matter.

Are there any other cleaners that work as well (or at least come some what close to the effectiveness of BG 44k)......

All I know is that BG 44k rules.... After 1 month of putting this stuff in the tank... the fuel comes out BLACK from the fuel filter.... takes all the gunk out.

i get it at my garage in ct if you want to work something out. and no there is nothing else like 44k. i use all their additives and live by them!

I bought it off the counter today from Dobbs in St Louis for $22 with tax. Dobbs is a regional chain that does vehicle service and reapairs. They were amused when I told them Scottsdale/Joe stopped selling it to the public by mail.

This thread actually got me to check on eBay again... there's a guy selling in lots of five for $13/can shipped. I bid on a couple of other auctions that aren't buy it now to see if I can do better... If not I'll buy some later next week... but bidding against "PHRoberts" is forbidden.

Better than the $15-17 I used to pay at my local dealership. They stopped using all BG products and went to something else a year or so ago.

I checked one other independent nearby and they wanted $25/can... I politely declined...

$12 a can sure beats Chevron Techron at $7-8 a can [bi weekly*] since you could space out the 11 ounce cans by using 50% [pour remainder into a sealed fire proof container] and use half 45 days after the first full BG 44k treament.* obviously this depends on how many gallons of low quality [average top tier] gasoline is consummed per week.

Joe is shipping again I ordered some yesterday and Carolyn checked with Joe and its coming Monday --I understand they had a little problem with shipping regulations and got hand slapped and had to get trained and re-certified or something.

I know in my home industry (pertoleum refining and petrochemicals) the labeling, packaging, and shipping documentation legal requirements are VERY complicated and onerous now.
