Got in the J at 5:30 this AM and I didn't have any Low beams !!Had to use the high beams all the way into work and made a few peeps angry.

I know the relay box is the usual culprit but I replaced it with a new one about a year ago.

Any idea's ??

Hmm. I have some resolutions... One. Check bulbs. 2. Check connections. 3. Check fuse. 4. Check headlight switch. 5. Go to a Certified Nissan Center. http://www.cardomain.com/id/j30dude click view

heheIve done all that except for the Certified Nissan Center.I prefer to keep my money in my pocket

I'm taking the relay apart tonight to see if a solder joint may have broke.

i would suspect the switch. or at least look at that after checking relays and fuses. one option for the relay idea is to find one like it, possably a/c or sumthing else that u no for sure works. and swap them make sure they're the same tho. if the lights work and the other dosent then bad relay, easier then pulling it apart.r u sure its got a relay?? i dont remember ever seeing one on any other car b4, but idono?? got a voltmeter?? check voltage at relay (if one there) should have one constant 12, a switched 12 (from light switch) two ground readings one directly and one with some resistance that goes through ur lights.my buddys 240 had no markers, just had to pull plugs apart and reconect, from a rusty terminal, new groves refresh connection that was at teh switch plug. good luck man.need schematics??

Its bizzare. Both Bulbs went out at the same time ??

Visual check the both looked fine.I put the stock bulbs in that I kept in my trunk and slapped them in and Boom !!Lights again.anybody have a theory why both would go at once ?They seem to be on separate fuses/circuit.Weird.

I've had bulbs go out within a day of each other but never at the same time. I think it's just your luck.

BTW, what are you doing up at 3am. lol
