Hi all... first post here...
Over the weekend I managed to run down my 2003 G35's battery listening to the radio while hanging Christmas lights. After getting the car jump started, I found that my interior lights (front passenger/driver, vanity, rear passenger, and key hole lights) do not light. Everything else is working fine. All fuses are intact.
I noticed that the road-side assistance dude (not from Infiniti my warranty was up and they wanted $60+ for a jump ... my wife's AAA was used instead) hooked his poratble jump-starter pos to pos and neg to neg not neg to block. Poetnetial source of the problem?
I've read in another post here to try unhooking the neg battery cable for several minutes and/or pumping the brake as a way to reset error codes. Is there anything else, short of a trip to the dealer, to resolve this?
Thanks for the help, and yes, I realize it's time to replace the battery!
