No insulation

When I disassembled the passenger door I was surprised to find NO INSULATION or sound deadening of any kind inside.WTF!!!I'm sure the drivers door is void of any insulation also because when the door is shut it sounds hollow & metallic.Is this common on the 2008 or was it removed during some maintainence process?

Not sure about the 2008, but I know my 2011 sounds like it has next to no sound deadening in it. I'm already going to Dynamat the area under the spare tire because the road noise from the back is horrible. I'll Dynamat the doors when I finally get my aftermarket speakers reinstalled. Hopefully that will help quiet things down.

When I picked up my Rogue at noon today I asked the service manager about the sound deadening or lack of it.He said Nissan doesn't use it.

It's not that uncommon to find no insulation in the doors.
