No Instrument Lights

I went to drive my car tonight and I noticed I had no dash lights. Also all of my lights on my heater control don't work either. Before all that worked on it were the lights on the slides on the heater, but now those don't work either. My glove compartment light works when i turn the lights on, but no instrument lights. Could anyone give me some ideas of what to check.

I forgot to mention my clock light works, but when you turn on the lights the light goes out and all of the idiot lights work too.

Check your tail lights fuse. Mine went out one night and I couldn't find a fuse for the gauge cluster. I didn't know that my tail lights were also out. My girlfriend told me they were and when I changed the fuse for them, the dash and gauge lights worked again
