Ok Guys,

I give up. How do you get the imbedded images to appear? I get the avatars, but images within a posting appear as a herd of dots chasing each other in a small circle.

Its not a matter of allowing enough time as nothing changes even after several minutes.

I've double checked all my settings in the user control panel and I believe I've got everything turned on.

I miss the accompanying photos in some of the "how to" threads.

I would try some housekeeping in your browser... delete temporary files, etc.

Can you see the images in this thread?

Nope no images in that thread either.

I am having no trouble with any other site.

I was having the same problem using Internet Explorer on Windows 7 and I clicked on the "compatibility" icon next to the URL at the top of the program which looks like a torn sheet of paper. The page reloaded and the pictures appeared.

AHH... that did it. Apparently this is an IE9 compatibility problem. The compatibility icon tells IE9 to interpret the website per standards in IE8.
