Ok, well I haven't seen the car in person, but the guy who owns it says that it starts but won't idle b/c of no TPS connector. Any other ideas?

When you say won't idle... do you mean he has to keep the pedal down to get it to stay running or it won't even crank properly?

you have to stay on the pedal.....and yeah, i know it could be almost anything wrong, i'm just going off of what the owner said about his engine.

Depends on where you get it... heavythrottle.com has a complete red top w/ everything you need (uncut harness, transmission, ignition parts, etc.) for $2500. From what I have heard, phase2motortrend.com is a good site too, nothing but good things about them. There are also a few members on this board who sell them, ask around for them. I know Daunttless is backed up quite a bit, but there's a few others.

By the way, Joe, guess who this is. :) I had the 240 you loved to bash...

Yup, but who's gonna have an SR block just sitting around... maybe he can get one from an SR20DE? Is that the same block?
