no high beams

Total noob when it comes to these trucks just got mine and i like it alot but the hi beams dont work on it i hooked a voltameter to the headlight socket and it reads 12.88 then flick on the hi beams and boom zero so i was wondering were i should start looking so i can get it fixed thanks93 nissan HB

Had the same prob on my '92 HB. Wasted $ changing headlight assemblys and fiddling with connections... Finally went to dealership: faulty switch assembly. $120. Bleh. Spend some time find one online. (The entire shaft & box that mounts on the column)

Anyone have any idea if you can use the Nissan 240sx one? I might give it a shot seeing as I have all the stuff laying around...
