Whats up? Ive been a honda guy all my life. I had an eg hatch and traded it for a 92 240 se. I've never owned a nissan. The heat doesnt work. It blows, but its cold. I have also noticed that you can switch from floor to the vents and it doesnt change. You can hit the defrosters and it doesnt do anything, just blowa out the floor and vents. Is there a trick to this or what?

First things first. Drive the car, and let it warm up. Then feel the top radiator hose. Then feel the bottom radiator hose. If the top is hot, and the bottom is not. Then you have a bad thermostat. Change it, and the heater should work.

However, if that doesn't work. Your cooling system may be clogged up somewhere or something. My car is doing the same thing. I changed the thermostat but it's still cold. I haven't gotten around to flushing out the coolant system. They sell things at Advance Auto Parts, or other car parts stores that hooks up to your garden hose and radiator.
