i have no choice but to drive my car this winter, and the heat stopped blowing out. heat flows out but the fan stopped blowing. i was told its probably either the blower motor, or the fuse but i cant find the fuse, anyone know where it is? and if not how much of a pain is it to replace the motor?

Ouch

Additionally, it could be the resistor block that controls the fan speeds, but generally if that fails you'll still have the highest setting on the blower. But yes, it will have a fuse in the fuse panel, and the panel or the panel cover should be labeled, if not check your owners manual. If you don't have that, grab a Hayne's/Chilton's manual for your car at the parts store, it should have the diagram as well.

the lights for the defrost and everything still turn on, but i dont get any speeds. when im driving, and i slow down i can hear something that sounds likes its coming from the vents as if theres metal or something moving around in there...it didnt start till my heat started messing up, which somedays it would work and others not, untill it just stopped all together, after that the sond has gotten louder

May check your control panel- I know mine stopped working on high, and that is what it was.

lol jk but yeah you shouldnt need to be tracing wires if your fuse blew...check the covers...if not theres plenty of stickies around here....unfortunately for me...i havent had time to work on mine but its just a simple reinstall...i took it out to mess with ecu wiring...cold as balls i tripple up on layers and double gloves (1 hour commute to work lol)
