No heat blow cold air

do you guys have a problem with the heater won't blow hot air if the temperature at your climate control less than 85 degress, and if you drive on the freeway more than 30 minutes all sudden just blow cold air until you turn down the temp, and turn all the way up again .... any suggestion will help, thks
