No Headlights

Hello Everyone! Here's the deal. Just bought my first Infiniti yesterday. It's a Dark Green 94 J30t. The headlights on the driver side don't work. No voltage to the bulb sockets but I have 12v at the two fuses in the engine compartment fuse box. Any idea's? What's the odd's of two seperate circuits being open?

Welcome to Nico !!I have the same year and color J !! Sounds like the headlight relay so common on or J'sI replaced mine awhile back.here's the how to to fix or replace.http://www.fuzzycats.com/docs/headlight_relay.pdf

J is a very special kind of car. It needs a bit more maintenance, otherwise, it is just a great car to drive.

Make sure to only use 55w bulbs after you have fixed the problem. Any bulbs over 55w fry the headlight wiring.

Update- Problem fixed! Thanks everyone for all the help. I tried to fix the old relay but it didn't work. I got a new light control relay from a local parts shop for $45, installed it and all is well. Thanks again.

hey i know under your name says Sand Springs, OK but do you happen to live in Texas? because i find it weird that someone in my apartments yesterday bought a dark green J30t also, dad pointed it out lol. tags on it are new and we've never seen it before
