no ground for coils. plz help

ok i have no spark so i searched and found a lil help.i tested the + and that has power to the coil, the E is getten power but the ground it dead, i checked the ground on the back of the head thats fine no prob there, checked the battery ground no prob there. and looked around for other grounds by the ECU and s*** like that found a few but there fine. so were esle do the - on the coil for the plugs ground out at .

could i just rewire the coils to make my own grown off the fire wall will that work?
