Okay, so i am new to this site. i did a quick search and found some info, but none that pertains to my issue.

Okay, so i have headlights(high and low). i have tail lights. i have marker lights. i have interior lights. also my radio is functioning. the only thing that isn't is the dash lights(dash illumination). fuses all check out. I've read there is a fusible link but i am still unsure of where it is located. also the pod lights don't illuminate. the "idiot lights" illuminate. my security system functions.

any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks

still no gauge illumination. i tore the dash apart to try and see if there was a burnt circuit. everything checks out fine. all the bulbs are fine. i also tore apart the switch that i got from ebay, its fine as was my old broken one(bought a new one because the old one was missing buttons).
does the radio illumination wire need to be connected?
my only other option right now is to go buy those stupid glow gauges.....

well, i found that my TCU( time control unit) had a burnt spot. going to solder a wire between the 2 points and see if that fixes the problem.

Sorry there weren't any replies here. I was going to suggest the "Theft Room L" fuse, and ask if your radio was working. I'm glad you got it sorted, and thanks for posting your fix here.

Had the TCU go out on mine. It also caused the clock and climate control to not work. Luckily I had randomly grabbed an extra from a junkyard to have on hand since they commonly fail.
