is it dangerous to drive with no front sway bar? i decided it would be fun to round a bolt off in the front when i was installing my st sways and won't have a chance to mess with it for a couple days. the rear st sway is currently installed. it is an S13 on tanabe sustec pro ss coilovers (8/6) and dropped to the ground.

Yes, very dangerous. That's going to make the front move all over the place. I'd just get it fixed before driving the car.

i did drive it around the neighborhood, felt pretty much the same as before but a little more bouncy. i also noticed that i had to jack the car up higher to get it off the ramps. guess i'll just drive the Q

Many cars use the sway bar as a leg of a right or bisected triangle that positions the lower controll arm [tension rods, lower arm and sway bar] all depends on the condition of the other two arms.

Without the front sway bar all cars will OVER STEER significantly in wet or with power application. Not to mention the increased front body sway 20-45% more depending on g forces.

Drive slowly and safely!

Your 8/6 kg springs pretty much overwhelm the bar stiffness [normally a bar is < the spring stiffness in your case its probably only 12-15% so much less effect than on a stock siuspension where the bar might be 40% of total front stiffness.

I've done it before. I wouldn't recommend it as a permenant thing, but it felt about like normal, with slightly less understeer.
