Hey everyone- bought a 95 J30 a few weeks ago.. just got it back after a timing belt install.

The fuse provding always-on to the HU was blown when I bought it. I replaced it and now power is back to the radio (it is an aftermarket).

only problem now- the rear speakers give no sound! Checked audio connections from the HU and all are well. Repaired/redid a couple grouns while I had it out.

Next I went through my Factory Service Manual and it seems the common connection to both back speakers will either be the groud, or the relay providing + to the speaker amps when in ACC or ON. From what I can see in the harness diagrams, it seems to be on the passenger sdie under the glove box. Can anyone confirm this? All I know is it has a brown 6 pin connector..

I will get in there and check it out in a few days (I'm busy with work for now).

Anyway this is my second post and I've read almost every thread in this group... so I just want to say I look forward to contributing to this forum regularly!

for others....... ist not behind the glove box. It is way up underneath the dash..... in order to get to it you'll need to remove the entire dash.

I will be removing the fuse for the rear speakers, and wiring my own relay sensing the "on" signal to the power antenna and giving the rear speakers power from my bass amp's wiring

unless one of you know an easier way to get to the audio amp replayIf you have the factory service manual, Page EL-116 shows teh wiring to the audio amp, and page EL-274 shows its approximate location [connector M75]
