ok so it feels like my engine is bogging down almost... it revs to redline but really slowly ... my idle is smooth, and i did a compression test, and i got about 100psi across the board... once i added a little oil, the numbers bumped up to 120... so idk what it could be.. piston rings maybe cuz of what the oil did to the numbers... but there is no smoke at all in the exhaust.. so im confused about that... again i have no pull or power and the engine feels aweful... any help / suggestions?

could be an advance problem within the distributor. centrifugal advance problem would make alot of sense. could be a vacuum problem too.

this is just a guess and symptoms match with it IMHO.

i checked my timing with a timing light, and it set perfect to 20 degrees advance, which is the stock timing for the KA... idk about a vac leak, cuz it ran perfect until my waterpump blew and i overheated...

but what a/b a centrifugal advance problem? as u accelerate, weights push themselves out to adjust for timing and speed of rpm. if their not working, like say they're broken, this could cause most of ur issues. try taking it to a shop to get an idea of whats goin on.
