i am at the end of my swap and the only thing i have left is the engine harness to put in before the northwest nissans annual gathering every year. the harness was sent to raw brokerage about 2 weeks ago and no answers as of yet eventhough i keep attempting to make contact and there has been no response. i would give almost anything to get my harness back modified for me swap.

Black Box Tuning (Carl H) does the wiring harness conversion for Raw Brokerage. I sent my rb26 wiring to him directly and he had it for a very long time. He did keep great communication and the harness looks awesome, but just takes along time to get it done. Mine was kind of unique I guess b/c I had him wire the resistor pack, a/c, auto to 5spd swap lower harness...etc. I haven't test it yet obviously since the motor isn't in the chassis but I chose him b/c all I heard were positive things about his work, although he does take his time. You'll get the harness don't worry. :P

i just rely on my car to get back and forth to work on a regular basis and i was informed that it would only take a week to be finished so when i schedule things it effects me because i live my life like clockwork. if it was going to take long then i would have sent it a long time ago to be worked on and planned for. i have no doubt that the person will do a good job its just urgent to me that i receive the harness because its starting to effect others around me and the people that work for me as well.

how long did it take for you to get your harness?

I forgot since i've had the harness for a while. But I would say it took about 3 months for the harness to reach my doorstep. Now I have to say that I expressed to have him take his time as I didn't need the harness right away.

You are learning a valuable lesson, assume the car will be down for extended periods when you do things like this. It never "just takes a week". Yeah, it sucks.. but them's the breaks when your doing motor swaps etc..

Another member had wiring specialties do a harness, which took months and months to get back.. and it was not done right.

As for a week? I doubt Ricky told you that. By the time it arrives at its final destination your looking at over a week in shipping.

thank you for the email. as far as one item taking 3 months for anything being fixed correctly that ridiculous. i fix fuel systems on 3 airplanes at a time and i am done with that in about 2 months so for a person like me with a schedule like mine its just hard for me to believe. if i knew that it would have taken this long i would have robbed a harness out of a junkyard last year and shipped it in order to prepare and have it in hand. i am just wanting it really bad and i am a impatient person when it comes to getting things(hard worker type of guy). im having to borrow other peoples cars and wake them up early in the morning to go to airport to airport for work and that bites. great things comes to those who wait i guess.
