no door chime with door open but chime if lights are on
is there a way to have that annoying door chime off when you open the door but still ring if the headlights are on? I know its a dumb question but certain people cant remember to turn the lights off lol

I think you can. My DD Mazda 3 has different chimes/tones for key and headlights. I love them.

Their is a green box located down by your fuse box.. I think it's up farther.. Un plug that, throw it out or stomp it to bits.. I've always liked te chime to it but it can be very annoying...

This will work even better, but you will need a Bosch relay. If you need color combinations and locations for all of the wires, let me know and I will look them up for you. This should disable the chime but still allow for the interior light and the headlight chime to still function. Let me know what you find out. I am out of town and cannot experiment on my own car first. Hope this helps!
