No Dog Barrier for EX35? Help.

I'm desperately trying to find something that will work (and preferably, work well, without damaging the car and which I can easily take in and out) as a dog barrier over the back seats of my new EX35. On Infiniti's European website, they have one custom for the car in the Accessories area.

Unfortunately, the US models don't have this available. Not sure why, as we're a country that loves dogs and carting them around with us. I emailed Infiniti Europe to see if they could send me one from there and they responded that it would not work with my EX35 because I don't have the ceiling hooks that are installed on theirs. WTF. I was disappointed.

Does anyone have any product that has worked well for the EX35? The short height between the cargo floor and the ceiling seems to make most barriers on the market not workable. And, in any event, the barriers out there look so rudimentary. Can't believe the marketplace hasn't come up with something better by now.

Also, on my old car, there was a way to turn the security system partially off for when I kept my dog in the car so she didn't set off the alarm. It had a "doors only" function that disabled the motion sensors, which would always be set off by my dog when I left her in the car alone. Do you know if the EX35 would have this?

I know your post is old and have no idea if you will see this. Have you solved your issue with finding a dog barrier for the EX35? I am going thru the same issue 6 years later. I'm even willing to have a custom one made but can't find anyone who does that either.

I just did a search in Google... "Dog Barrier SUV" and then looked at Images. There seems to be several adjustable / universal options available and some other good creative ideas too... Take a looksee. Here are a couple examples.
