no cylinder 4????

i might be buying a kade and manual trans for 270 bones from a local guy. he said right now the 4th cylinder isnt working. and there is gas around the spark plug or something. he said he thought maybe a valve was stuck. and said it might need some head work. idk. what could this be and is it worth it at that price. im planning on going ka-t once my funds are sufficent and the engine is ready. of course after i blow up my existing ka with 200,000 miles and destroyed head from when my exhaust cam snapped.

yea thats what i was thinking..also another kid who doesnt know a thing about cars just had his manual trans pulled cuz a guy bought the shell. and the transmission grinds 2nd and 3rd but im going to offer him 20 bucks for it so i have another transmission to mess around with. cuz im going to blow the crap out of my current kade. the exhaust cam snapped so the head is destroyed. but not destroyed enough.
