ok, so forgive me for the double post but I really need help!

When I try to start my car it acts as if I don't have the clutch on. It doesn't crank, it doesn't turn it doesn't do anything. If I try and try and try again it eventually 'grabs' and it starts like it should. Any help would be helpful!

Thanks!

Is there any electrical power at all? If not, try checking your grounds.

Describe your situation in more detail and we can help you further.

Everything electrical works.
Ok, so when I turn the key to start the car I get nothing. Much like turning the key without pressing the clutch. However, if I turn the key again and again it will eventually start. By start I don't mean it will start cranking and eventually turn on, I mean it's as if I turned the key for the first time.
The starter is about a year old...if that.

Well I suppose the first places I'd start looking are your ignition switch and the little switch on the clutch pedal. I swapped my car to five speed so I don't have to worry about the clutch pedal switch.

Ignition switch or starter relay or starter/clutch relay. Your starter may only be a year old but that doesnt mean the sylinoid isnt going bad. Check the power cable going to the noid too it might be loose. Good luck.

lol mine does this all the time. roll the car forward a little bit an pop the clutch it 1st gear (just enough to move the position of the flywheel a bit) and then see if it starts, you may have a bad spot in the starter motor and not realize it. i know i do, becaust mine starts almost every time :gapteeth:
