i have a 91 240sx, completely stock. Recently the clutch has lost pressure and i cant figure out why. its on the floor, i can pull it up but when i go to engage it the pedal goes back to the floor. ive replaced the slave cylinder and bled the clutch. this happened once before so i bled the clutch again and it came out enough to put it in gear, but not where it should be. but now its back to the floor. i have a basic understanding of cars, but im no mechanic so it could be something simple. i know the master cylinder could be an issue but i thought id try everything else before going into replacing that. any suggestions? thanks for your imput!

It could definitely be a bad master. Did you perchance remove the clutch dampening box when you replaced the slave? If not, it makes it damn near impossible to bleed the clutch hydraulic system.

thanks, i removed the clutch dampening box, and the clutch feels better, still needs to be bled. now the problem im facing is the car wont start. im sure its a sensor, but which one? did taking that box off affect any sensors??

If you hear nothing when starting, then probably the clutch sensor on the pedal.

Taking the clutch box off doesn't affect any sensors, no.

To add to "usual suspects". Car not starting could be- Dead battery, dead starter, bad clutch switch.

Being the fact that you among the better part of the human population (meaning you own a manual transmission vehicle ;) ), you can always push-start the car :)
