I ordered a ca18det clip from jarco.com it took them two or three trips to Japan before they found a car to cut, it was an automatic with 24000 km on the odometer before they cut up the car. It had been stuck in customs in Atlanta, GA for a while now and finally I was told customs/EPA would not allow a running car, but motorsets were ok. They had to send the clips back to Japan and Jarco is sending me a refund. Since when does a peice of a frame count as a running car? Come on, its HALF a car, no sheet metal, no wheels... its just a metal crate basically... I was looking forward to getting this engine, and the clip for RHD parts. Have others got caught in the same boat here in the last 3 months?
BTW Jarco and Michael (half cuts) have been very professional, I'd consider them again if I still want to do a swap after a bit of time to reconsider all my options and chose to get a JDM motor.

Yes, Jarco is great. Sounds to me like someone left all the fluids in the engine and it was able to be cranked over. **** has changed in the past year. i got my clip hooked up some fuel lines and a fuel pump and started the ***** up. most clips you can i guess like said before they are cracking down. i will never buy a front clip again. im STILL trying trying to get rid of the left over parts from a year ago. and yes michael hooper is the ****.
