Hey, I am at work so I didn't have time to go crazy searching, but I did a few searches and nothing came up.

Basically, I am looking at a 92 240sx with auto transmission. Supposedly the car has been sitting for a couple months. Here is the issue.

The is barely any pressure when pressing the brake, the pedal easily goes down to the floor. When I drove the car I could only go about 10mph because even with the pedal down to the floor the car barely stops.

Before I drove it we put brake fluid in because it was pretty low. Also, when idling and you press the brake the engine bogs a little.

Any idea on what the problem could be and the cost of fixing it?

Any help would be appreciated as I am going back to look at the car this afternoon.

i looked on the rims and on the ground under the car but didnt see anything, and the brake fluid level stayed the same after we poured more fluid into it.

check the MC for moisture/fluid around it, but you said the level hasnt changed so i doubt it. id definatly bleed the piss out of it. that should fix that, if not id check the master. as for the other, ib say check your booster. if the master leeked out the back, itll go into the booster and eat up th diaphram in it and couse an open vac leak.

Also check the brake booster vacuum hose for leaks. Had the same problem a while back with the revs dipping while on the brake, and that's what it was.
