no brake lights!!!!!!!

1990 base model coupe red top sr20


has a z32 brake kit on it (front and back)....and the brake switch is unplugged..but when i plug it in it keeps on the parking lights. and when i unplug the parking lights they will still work only when lights are on (like a normal car should)...so when its UNPLUGGED it acts normal and when plugged it the only way to turn parking lights off is to unplug the brake switch....so my question is....any ideas on how to make my brake lights work...i just bought new bulbs tonight so i know its not the bulbs.


ive also had problems with my driver side headlight...sometimes it will come on..but rarely..and doesnt flip up..but im sure tahts just the motor....so idk if the driver side headlight is related to the brake problems also...

I had the same problem there is a rubber plub that is on the plate behind the brake switch that falls out. heres a sight that sells them http://www.courtesyparts.com/b....html
