check your brake light switch.

i think (if its same as my previous sentra) its a normally open switch that is in open position (the button pressed in) when the brake pedal is not pressed. if you want to, you could remove the switch from under the dash by turn counter-clockwise and it will unlock from its bracket. then unplug the switch from its harness. get a multimeter and check for continuity between the contacts. probably 2 pairs of contacts, one set for the brakes, the other for the transmission (if you have auto, to put the car into gear from park).

but if the car is still under warranty, take it in asap. this was a recurring issue with my previous sentra, i've had the switch replaced twice (or maybe 3 times?) while under warranty and once again on my own. dunno if the brake pedal's spring might be too tight, too much pressure on the switch wearing it out prematurely (since the pedal is almost always pressed against the button on the switch). but please get it in to the dealer right away.
