I'm about to go ka-t here in about a month. I'm going to be using the stock SR smic and piping which also has the recirc. valve. How do I go about hooking that up? I searched for this but didn't really find much. If someone could just give me a little more insight that would be cool. Thanks, Sean

if i understand your question, you want to use a recirculating valve instead of a BOV, well they look similiar, but the recirc. will have a tube that runs back to the other side of the maf or, if you have a port near the intercooler you just rund the recirc tube there.

objective of the recirculating valve is to keep the car from stalling or dying if you have a maf, damn the maf sensor.

someone needs to build a throttle body with a map sensor plugin.

I have heard the recirculating valve helps a bit with the boost and power after an upshift. True or not?

yes, thats exactly what im trying to do. thanks for the info. the recirc. valve is like 3 inches from the intercooler...so basically there is an "out" on the recirc. valve and an "in" on the intercooler???
