I'm waiting on my sr belt replacement. Can I drive around with no power steering... say... two weeks or less? Could this cause any damage to thepower steering system? Thanks!

No, it won't hurt anything and enjoy the extra workout when turning the wheel at low speeds.

Just drive around for like 1 year with no power steering. You'll get arms the size of cannon balls (The big ones)

Sure it is, but I don't like to struggle with the road.

You seriously don't after a couple of days.

If you've ever raced a car with no power steering, and then got back into a power steering car, you can hardly feel what is going on in the road.

I haven't raced the s13 yet, but at high I don't feel it. I have no problem man-handling the steering on my ride.

ive had the power steering removed from my car for 3 years now. dont know about drifting withou it though. any time a put my car sideways, its just yanking on the steering wheel. im thinking about reinstalling it when i put in a refurbished steering rack and pinion soon that way the girl can drive it when we go tot the bar and i drink to much to drive home

i like to whip turns without fighting it. the exra 15-20lbs that allows me to do this easily is worth it imo.

No power steering sucks. Manual rack is better than just disabling the power steering though.
