no acceleration and knocking sound

Got a ka24e 240 and today I red lined it and after that it didn't want to accelerate too good. there's a knocking sound but i don't know if it's a rod knocking or what. Almost sounds like something is loose in the engine head. any idea what happened?

turns out it's 2 screws on my valve rods that are stripped i'm guessing. I try to tighten them and they become loose again.

the valve shaft broke in half pretty much. and the holes in which the screws that hold down the valve shaft were stripped. I now have gotten a new head, so hopefully everything works.

i'm looking at the manual. it's telling me it's called valve shaft. the things that hold the valve rockers. 2 rods above the camshaft.
