No A/C For ME!!!

I took out my A/C, the compressor, condensor and all that other sheist with it, then I got rid of my mechanical fan and wired my A/C fan to turn on with my ignition it works really good , mostly just because of all the leaves I got out from between my condensor and radiator. Anyway, It feels liek I freed up around 10hp? and just is more responsive plus I got rid of around 50 lbs. (I'm serious) from the fron of my car. Been driving it around for 3 days now and no over heating.

Just cool new news, it feels really good, Oh yeah, I installed brembo stock replacements also and they feel good to.

I would do that if possible, however here in Texas those "104 degree in the shade" days will really kill you without an A/C.

My AC had no belt when I got my car, so no AC for me anyways. It's never hotter than 70 or so degrees here anyways so it's ok. I wonder if it feels really different without it.

I live up in northern cali, still driving my primer black auto 240 with black leather seats and all black interior. When i turn on the AC is blows HOT AIR. i dont know how thats possible. But we get a few 100+ degree days here, and sometimes i dont think about it and jump in the car, which has been sitting in the sun and man those seats get hot.... I mean like OUCH hot. I really need a new 240 /cry

When you hit the AC button, does the green light actually light up? If it doesn't, your compressor isn't engaging. If it does, then you probably need to check and make sure you have Freon in the system.

104 in the shade... I know what your talking about.black car w/ black interior in texas isn't the best thing ever. but it's not just the heat that sucks. it's the humidity. boy does it suck.

Stop whining about how hot it gets... just get a damn AC.. or get it to work.. or get a car that has an AC in it and you won't be hot in a 100+ degree weather...

Then again, now that I think about it, who needs A/C when you have an SR powered 240? Just go a minimum of 30 over the limit with the windows open everywhere you go, you'll never get hot...LOL
