NLEV Exhaust Questions

Hey everyone,I've done a search for NLEV/Cali emissions but only seem to come up with questions about what it is versus what we can do with it. My max certainly lacks the power that everyone is bragging about, it's an auto but I'm certainly not seeing anything near the 4dsc everyone talks about. I've also got the bees in a tin can problem. And that's getting worse. I'm thinking my Cats aren't in the best condition at this point (between my MAF sensor and a few bad coils and the plugs not getting done until 120k [mind you I got the car at 119k]).

I'm not sure where to start. I've checked my local parts store and they don't have squat to help me. I'd like to know what kind of options I have for exhaust, mostly replacing all of the Catalytic converters. Thanks for any help in advance.

2000 Max. I know I've got Cali emissions. I've got 4 O2's

The 2000s are slow because of those rims

I'd click on the Marketplace link up above and check out our sponsors. One of them should have a decent price on your exhaust parts. The guys at EverythingG35.com have really great prices on the G stuff, they should be equally competive on the Max/I30 stuff since it's a dealer.

oh I'll agree. The rims are awful. I'm trying to find some cheap stock 6 spoke rims. I almost got a set for $165 but I missed it by 1 day.Jay
