These are the plugs that where in my car when I got it. It boosted 12-13 psi via the factory boost control solenoid, so I figured It had a flashed ECU....dunno.

Car came from japan, so maybe those plugs are better suited to higher octane fuel?

what do I do?

on a side note, how do you guys gain oil pressure before cranking a fresh motor?

I was advised to pull the spark plugs and crank.

should I cut the fuel pump as well?

the plugs are fine and yes, you need to pull the plugs and the fuel pump fuse. Crank it over until the dummy light goes out, then re-install plugs and fuse and fire it up.
