I'm thinking about doing a 5 speed swap over the summer and would like to know if there are any good shops in New Jersey that would be able to complete the conversion for me. I know there was a place called "powerzamcam" but I heard that no longer exists. NICO, I need your help.

Thanks.

I'm in NY, I'll do it for you for $200 with the parts provided. I can even get out there for you.

Thank you, you have seen the disaster I have just picked up (look up the mess of a coupe I just bought). To the OP, I will seriously do this for you though, $200 in hand with the parts provided and it will be cake. I really need money, this is the only reason I offer my services. I might also be able to bring a buddy along to help me, we are by no means licensed but we can do a nice clean job.

Alright, I'll give you a message in the summer or something. I'm at school right now and need to get some money saved up to pay for parts. Would you be able to scavenge and find the parts for me, if I pay of course? Where in NY are you?

Thanks.

Anyone know of any other places, just in case? I forget the name of the shop in Newark, NJ...

Im on the island. If your going to be around newark thats only about an hour and a half drive from here. Check the classifieds, part out section especially. I usually see some crazy deals for 5 speed swap parts there.

Check out Slidewayz Motorsports in Palisades park. I've definately heard some good things about these guys for a good price, I got their number if you want it, just E-Mail me on [email protected] if you're interested.

BTW, you got all the pedals and everything?

Raymond Motor Works in Newark. It's in the industrial section of Newark, just a 2 minute drive off 1&9, Turnpike, 22, 78, GSP, etc.

Very easy to get to, very good guys, and very, very good work. They can also find or make pieces that you are missing and will do a lot of little extras to clean up anything with you car. They're used to everything from 5-speed swaps, to CA/SR swaps and even up to 350+rwhp KA-Ts.

[email protected] if you need more info.

Nope, I don't have any of the necessary parts for the swap, hence why I asked DGK if he could acquire them. Thanks for the Slidewayz Motorsports, I'll check them out as well.
