have u tried getting tires and coilovers. also lanuch from 1st gear not neutral if you didnt know that.edit: whoa 10 pages

Nah man, the times I put in for bracket (like 16.2) are less than a TENTH of a second off of what I'm doing. Also, the tree lets the other guy leave first! I still end up beating him, but it tells me I lost! What **** is that??? What can I do to fix this, cause I'm really getting discouraged not getting credit for what I'm doing.

Yes, I have slicks and coilovers. If I launch from 1st, lag is a B I T C H. Great top end, but VERY slow starting. With ~ 480 hp...its hard launching.

you need a gear box and mess around with your gear ratios so you can compspensate(sp?) for the lag. ask s14sr20det for the ratios. makes his car run 8's but not mine unfortunely

NO, you need NAAAWWWWS!! that's how i got rid of turbo lag. I just spray nitrous the whole way through, and get in the 8's.

okay, i don't know about you guys, but one thing, you all suck. HEHE.

First of all, some of you never heard about race track and bracket racing before.

2nd of all...well, you just suck

ANyways, I was kidding btw. My best RT was .5 (yes, .5 even) and my best 1/4 was 8.4** with my civic. I kept racing and broke out (i forgot to use the H2H launching technique, i used the bracket's..stupid me)

launching turbo car is easy because of lag. Try launching a supercharged car. I currently have both, in game. Fully built civic's. one supercharged, and one turbo. I think i like the superchrager one better. Gear ratios dont match up for turbo and superchraged cars, just to let you know.i have yet how to figure out how to run 8's. When ever i spray off the line i have traction problems. And when i spray top end i turn low 9's with supercharged car, and mid 9's with turbo car. Hmmmm.

**** brakets, they piss me of cause of the breakout crap ... so I just race head to head for alot of $$$ so I can buy a supra by the end of this week!BTW I do low 8's

DUDE, i still dont know how u pull 8's and my car revs so fast in first gear on the bottle that it redlines b4 my slow as 56k POS will shift so then i over-rev....all i can do safely is mid-high 9's...dammit! but ive had RT's as low as .268. i have s14sr's gear codes and all...i ran slower with the codes and magic gearbox than i did with the stock 5spd....o well, and btw..no1 will race me for money...i dunno how many challenges i sent out...every1 declines so my bank account is like $131 and USUALLY its at $0-10...thats it.....so yeah.....later.

And i agree AZNRIDE, some dont know POO about staging..the tree, brackets and the like. (although im still learnin about bracket racing in reality myself) i was talkin to a kid the other day(he had a 99 firebird) that said he frequents the nearest strip "o yeah, im there all the time"...and i asked if their tree was still broken, and he asked..."wats a tree"...o well...
