Who knows what to expect (roughly) out of a 55 shot ZEX set up as far as power increases? Has anyone tried this on there 350Z (nitrous not just zex)? Let me know anything anyones heard, my buddy will sell me his ZEX set up for a deal i can't let go by. Thanks.

expect about 55 hp, they do a great job of acurately stating hp gains, keep in mind that is a crank hp number, actually most quality kits get nearly as much tot he wheel as they advertise fr the crank

I have no experience with ZEX but when dealing with nitrous don't get greedy! also a dry kit the idea is to place the nozzle as close tot he ait filter as possible, as I matter fo fact zex used to sell a cone air filter with a nozzle insert

I looked on the ZEX website and found the cone you were talking about, it looks like it would work pretty well. Im thinking about getting one of the ZEX Z kits also because i am looking for some quick hp when i need it but i have a few questions for anyone who knows. The first thing i was wondering is is it ok to run a 75 shot of nitrous if you have an intake, plentium spacer, and after market exhaust but an otherwise stock engine? Also if i did install this kit would i need to get a better fuel pump or would the stock one work, would i need to change the spark plugs or anything?

the kit manufactureres will have recomended shot sizes, if you stay within their suggestions you should be fine, exceeding their suggested shots is where trouble happens, as for spark plugs anything but platinum, somethign about the nitrous erodes the compounds used to hold the platinums together

The kit i am buying is not specified for my car, should i be using a car specific? I went over to my buddies to look at the kit to see if i need anything else, just looks like the ZEX filter which comes with the extra line i will need. He said plug the brain into the TPS and then hold a button, then hold the pedal to the floor until it learns the program or some sh*t like that. I think its universal and he seemed to know what he's talking about and said he doesn't see why it wouldn't work on my car. Also he already has a purge kit and tank warmer w/ a blanket + mounts and all. I get it all for $300! smells like a deal to me. Does anyone have a quick reference where the TPS is located so i don't have to look it up, or spend precious set up time looking for it..... Thanks.

again I have no experience with ZEX or how their system integrates witht he Z but I'm willing to wager if you go to their site you can find a kit and size they recomend for the Z33, try staying within their guidelines, also the purge kit is basically useless on a dry kit, and the bottle heater is only neaded if you are doing large or sustained shots
