I read the Nitrous Faq but its not too specific to the 240. My brother is knowledgable about nitrous and says I'd need to replace the clutch if I started spraying. Is this true if I installed a 75 shot? I'm on a stock clutch right now with 65K miles and the owner before was a sweet girl that I know didn't drive hard at all, it still feels pretty solid. What else would I need to upgrade to run a 75 shot? I say 75 because I see people on here are going up to like 125 with no problems, but I don't want to stress the engine that much because the newer KAs were built weaker than the older ones. Also, some of the other threads mentioned that the NX kit is the best. This true? Thanks all

well your clutch might go without nitrous, so i'd say new stage II clutch would be smart. I run 100 shot, and i wouldn't trust it with a stock clutch with 65k miles on it! just my oppinion

your cluthc will hold up, its not going to blow apart or anything, but w/a 75 shot there will most likly be some slippage when shifting hard.

slippage is the main concern. AS 91nis240 said your fears of the clutch shattering are uneeded. But if the clutch face is worn, then its going to slip.

Stage 2 might be a little rough goin though since your not gonna be sprayin all the time. If your in stop and go, or your just tryin to cruize, have fun with that clutch on little hp. If your not gonna spray alot, id say stage one. If your gonna spray alot stage 2. JUST A THOUGHT
