I just built my ka24e and getting it ready to go back in my car everything inside the motor is new exept the rods ect. I was wanting to know how much of a wet shot of nitrous would be safe and the motor compression ratio is 8:6:1 thanks for the help i have never really messed with nitrous.

if u call the nitrous company u got the kit from they can usually tell u. most companys follow the 20hp shot of wet nitrous per cylinder. I have a 1.6 ga and i've been running 75hp for 2 years now no problems what so ever. since urs is also a 4cylinder and ur running the wet nitrous kit, 50hp safe with stock timing, 65hp 1 degree retard, 75hp 2-3 degree retard in timing. Also larger exhaust will help the extra gas colum escape faster. I run a 2.25in manderl exhasut with after market headers and a CAI. everything is freeflowing. dont get platnium plugs they dont work well with nitrous. I acctually dont like platnium plugs with any performance applications. I ran denso iradiums all last year with no problems and now i switched to zex nitrous plugs and it runs maybe slightly better than the iradiums. make sure that ur are adding the extra fuel to run higher nitrous levels, also i wouldnt go over 100hp unless u go direct port just becuase you can inject nitrous equally across all pistons.

You need a dyno and someone who knows how to tune your setup to find out what it can really handle safely. Otherwise, stay conservative.
