 you can run that 65 shot on the zex fine.....I wouldn't go much higher on that dry system.... also run at least 93 octane gas.......or better..........I'm running a 100 shot on my 96 ka24de but my system is wet.....

:) If its not a wet system you need to upgrade the fuel pump...to run safely but I have heard of some people running 100 dry shot on stock pumps just being careful.

Redrocket aka "robbie" is running about a 70 shot "adjustable of course" of nitrous on his close to stock ka. It has more than 70k miles on it too. Ask robbie, he can tell you all you need to know!

Good thing I found this thread - I think I'm going to squeeze my KA until my CA comes in. :)

My car ran a 200 shot dry for more than a year.It is all in how the system is set up.and how willing you are to change plugs after every race, or to replace a headgasket once a month.

your best bet is to set up a 75 shot on a wet system like Nitrous Express. The Zex kits don't hit nearly as well as NOS, NX, TNT, or any of the other Holley brands.

I ran a 14.7 with a 75 NX Wet Kit w/ limited traction. It's an automatic too, which actually might be favorable with Nitrous since it was very easy to launch once I got better tires.

Never made a 1/4 mile pass with good tires, but did make a pretty decent 1/8 mile pass on 245's and ran a 9.1 in the middle of summer.
