Welcome to NICO!

Let me first say that NOS is a dangerous mod to do if you don't know what you're doing. If you do not tune the vehicle correctly, it will cause the fuel/air ratio to run lean and could detonate. Not really a good first mod. But if you want to do it right, then you'll need a custom tune/ECU, fuel monitoring and a bottle mount (trunk would be your best bet).

I would stick with a Cold Air Intake, CAT-Back Exhaust, and for the G35, a 5/16 plenum spacer.

When looking at Nitrous for a N/A street driven and stock motor I would look at maybe a 50-shot. Lots of Maxima guys in the day used that with little issue (done right). Some went as far as a 75-shot. They would also install a WOT switch so all they had to do is enable the system and put the pedal down.

Issues with nitrous are mentioned above. You also have to deal with charging and heating the bottle and a place to have the bottle in the first place (usually in the trunk).

FWIW, here is a pic of a Maxima after the bottle warmer did not turn off and over-heated the bottle

I assume with the proper purge valves this would not happen, but, who knows.
