I have just installed a 100hp nitrous wet kit from Zex. The kit is for a 350 z part number 82220. It work perfect on a G35 Coupe. Is there any one else out there with this???

NICE!!!

I don't have nitrous on my G but I did have it on my Hemi Ram. It is awesome!!

I do have some tips for you.

1> Run 91 octane (add octane boost at the track)2> Get a wide band o2 sensor, this may save your engine3> Get a fuel pressure safety switch, if your fuel pressure drops you will go lean and quick. A fuel pressure safety switch cuts the power to the nitrous solenoid if the fuel pressure drops below a preset psi.4> Don't carry the nitrous through your shifts, let off the button right before the shift and press it down after the shift. The impact load of a nitrous shift chews transmission hubs picture below. Top hub is 57,000 miles on it bottom hub is new.

It is very strong...... It has about a 1 second delay from dead take off before the nos kicks in. This allows the car to get rolling before it activates, not sure why it does this, maybe because the gas feed has no cable and is electric. This works really well not to smoke the tires. I am looking to purchase a chip of some sort. Anyone have any suggestions???????

No chips for our cars...you have to retune the ECU or use an aftermarket unit (UTEC Greddy E-manage).

just fyi, in case you ever plan to use nos off the line.....don't do it! trust me, you only want it to kick in at mid range rpm and WOT. the last thing you want is nos shooting into your motor at a stand still. Sooner or later, all that combustion is gonna go somewhere besides your pistons. My buddy blew the end off his intake plenum on his 4 banger applying the nos too early. Listen to gwoods to about the letting go just before a shift too. you may not get your absolute fastest times that way, but you'll save yourself some heartache and parts in the long run. have fun with it! I've actually been thinking of running some nos. I just don't have the time or money right now for FI of any kind.

oh and welcome to NICO...pics pics pics!

mark mcguire made it further than everyone else did. these steroids are legal, too.

most nitrous kits have a WOT switch to activate them. it basically removes the button that the driver pushes and replaces it with a throttle switch that turns the nitrous on ONLY at WOT. this keeps the driver from adding it below 3000 rom. pretty sweet.

if you juice before 3000 rpm then you'll end up with nitrous backfire thus destroying vital engine parts. the throttle switch ROCKS!

Thats your call...you might gain 10-15 HP...It's up to you if you think its worth it. Personally, I would wait until you get a major power adder like Nitrous or FI.

well I had planned to use the Emanage but it turns out it wont work with an 06 so i ended up going with the Utec. I really wish i could have used the Emanage its a much nicer and more user friendly setup. Also the Utec only kicks in when it feels it needs to so there is a bit of a glitch when it changes over.
